Welcome to the Elementary Ministry for 1st through 3rd Grades!
Let us help in laying a foundation of faith in your child's life. Spirit Quest is our Sunday school program for children in grades first through third. Spirit Quest is offered at 9:45 and 11:00 each Sunday. Children learn one bible lesson by rotating through a different themed room each week. Classrooms include Drama, Chapel, Movies, Art, Music/Games, Science/Cooking, Missions, and Computers. This multi-genre approach to teaching caters to children's different learning styles. Spirit Quest teachers are trained volunteers who have completed a background check. If you are interested in serving as a Spirit Quest teacher please contact the Children's Ministry department.
Traditional Sunday school is offered at 8:45. Traditional Sunday school will meet in the same classroom each week and the location will be posted on the bulletin board at the top of the staircase. Sunday school lessons at this hour will be taught through reading bible stories, playing games, and making simple craft projects.
Sunday Morning Sign In
Sunday School is located in our main building upstairs in the west hallways. At the top of each staircase a bulletin board is posted with the weekly Spirit Quest schedule. Locate your child's classroom for the hour by looking at this schedule. As you arrive at the classroom make sure you register your child's attendance on the attendance roster. If you are a visitor, fill out the yellow visitor form completely. If you would like your child's name added to the attendance roster complete the blue registration form available outside each classroom. Please note where you will be while your child is in class. All children must be picked up by a parent/guardian from class. For the safety of the children the teachers must adhere to this rule.
Building Friendship through Fun and Fellowship
Children's Ministries offers many events during the year giving our children a chance to grow deeper friendships with kids their own age. There is a special event especially for each of our grades 1st-3rd. Please check out our calendar page for more details. We also offer the Parents Night Out program for children age 4 months to 3rd grade. This program is offered as another opportunity for kids to have fellowship with one another and also give parents a night out.
